HOW COMPETITOR ANALYSIS WORKS?
  • 1)How do I check the competition?
    • Now that you have a few phrases you think you like, let’s see how competitive they are.
    • Search for the Phrase
    • The only way to really gauge the competition for a given phrase is to search for it. As you do this, keep in mind that search results are personalized for you and may not be similar to what someone else sees.
    • Here are three tips to get a better sense for what “typical” search results might be for a given phrase when you’re checking competition in Google:
      • a)Make sure you’re logged out of Google+ and other Google products.
      • b)Set the location to the location for your target audience. Leave it set for your city if your audience is local. Set it to “United States” for a national audience.
      • c)If you’re really skeptical of the search results you’re seeing, visit www.google.com/adpreview to search Google with fewer of the signals that are specific to you and your computer.

Caution: Universal Search Results The last few years have brought much more diversity in the types of content in search results, so there’s a good chance you’re seeing images, news, video, products, local listings and, of course, ads. All of these are in addition to the usual organic listings. They are called “blended” or “universal” search results and they change how we approach keyword research and SEO.

Searching for some phrases will return local search results. If there’s a map in the top right corner and the search results page is dominated by a group of local listings (usually in a group of seven or three), the usual search engine optimization efforts aren’t going to be enough. You’ll need to do Local SEO, which is not based on content marketing.

  • 2)Estimate the Competition
    • This is one of the more difficult web marketing skills. It’s tricky. There are many tools that try to make it easier. Some tools show a score called “Keyword Effectiveness Index,” which combines search volume and competition. Moz estimates competition with a “Keyword Difficulty” score. But its always best to check competition manually, without tools.
    • Take a look at the search engine results page (or “SERP” as the SEOs like to say) for the phrase. Here are some keyword research tips for determining competition. The phrase is likely competitive if…
      • There are 10 pay-per-click ads on the page, three at the top and seven down the right side. This means others have already determined the keyphrase is valuable.
      • There are tens of millions of results. This means there are many pages on the web that are relevant for this phrase.
      • The top ranking sites have the target keyphrase at the beginning of the link. This means those sites have the key phrases at the beginning of their page titles, which indicates the owners of these sites know a bit of SEO.
      • The top ranking sites are popular, well-known sites.
      • Unless you invent a time machine, you’re not going to outrank Wikipedia.
      • If the top three or five sites are trusted, reputable websites, they’ll have loads of link popularity and therefore powerful domains. You’re not likely to compete without focusing serious time and resources.
  • 6)Still unsure if you have a chance of ranking?
    • Try this: check the “domain authority” of the top-ranking and bottom-ranking sites on page one in Google.
    • Enter both sites into Open Site Explorer. If the domain authority of your site is in that range, you should have a chance of ranking.
    • Keep in mind, unless you’re aMoz subscriber, you can only use this tool three times per day.
    • Shortcut to research keywords fast. You can estimate your odds of ranking based on your Domain Authority and the keyword search volume. This is a shorthand way to quickly research keywords for which you can reasonably expect to rank.
HOW KEYWORD ANALYSIS WORKS?
  • 1)Search Volume:
    • This is the popularity of the keyword. How many people are searching for the phrase?
    • There is no point in targeting a phrase if no one is searching for it.
  • 2)Competition:
    • There is also no point in targeting a phrase if you have no chance of ranking for it.
    • How likely is your page to rank for the phrase?
    • How many websites are relevant for this phrase?
    • Are they powerful sites?
  • 3)Check Search Volume (Popularity):
    • Although there are many tools that show how popular various key phrases are, I recommend the Google tools because they have the most data.
    • The two tools are Google Ad Words Keyword Planner and Google Trends. They’re very different, but they complement each other.
    • Google Ad Words Keyword Planner suggests many phrases and shows estimated numbers for monthly search volume (how many people are searching for the phrase) in the U.S. and around the world.
    • Google Trends Shows trending for specific phrases over time. Allows comparison of phrases and also suggests a few phrases.
      • Is the phrase becoming more or less popular?
      • Is it seasonal?
      • Is the phrase popular in my region?
  • 4)Google Analytics:
    • Find phrases and topics that are already driving traffic by looking in Traffic Sources > Search Engine Optimization > Queries. Keywords related to these will be easier for ranking.
  • 5)Google Suggest:
    • Just begin entering relevant keywords into Google and see what phrases Google suggests.
    • Try first entering question words like “how to” and “what” along with your topic for more suggestions.
    • You might get new ideas for phrases with good search volume.
  • 6)Talk to your team:
    • People within your organization are a great source for keyword ideas.
    • Ask around to find out what topics they’ve been talking about.
    • Align a topic with a phrase, and ask if they wouldn’t mind writing the article!
  • 7)Create personas around your target audience:
    • This will help you find out what customers search for when they’re not looking for your product or services. For example, if you sell bug spray, your customers probably search for things like “camping tips” and “best hiking trails in New York”. Personas will help you identify these keywords.
  • 8)) Find communities where your target audience tends to hang out, whether it’s a fan forum, Facebook group, Google+ Community, or on a specific Subreddit.
    • Keep an eye out for any problems or questions that tend to crop up again and again. These are excellent “seed” keywords to put into the Google Keyword Planner.
  • 9)How many searches are enough?
    • For most businesses, it’s ideal if the main key phrase for your site has thousands of searches per month. The home page should be optimized for this phrases.
    • Interior pages, such as product and service pages, should be optimized for more specific phrases. Those phrases may have hundreds of searches per month.
  • 10)What about long key phrases?
    • For businesses where the value of a potential transaction is high, such as a B2B service company, it may be useful to target very specific phrases with very few searches.
    • If only 30 people search for a phrase each month, that’s still a potential visitor every day.
    • Long, very specific search phrases, such as entire questions, are referred to as “long tail” key phrases.
    • Long phrases often have little, if any, competition.
    • If you target a long tail phrase with six or seven words, it’s possible that you’ll have the only page on the Internet with that combination of those words together in that order.
    • You may rank high within days of posting the content, and the visitors may be highly targeted.
    • A few hours of content marketing today may lead to a steady trickle of traffic and a handful of qualified leads for years to come.
  • 11)Can I target more than one phrase? What about secondary key phrases?
    • It’s unlikely that a single page will rank high for many phrases, especially interior pages and blog posts.
    • So it’s best to target one key phrase.
    • You may have success targeting more than one phrase, if the phrases have words in common. This is easier if the phrases share the first word or two, rather than the last.
    • If the primary and secondary key phrases are completely dissimilar, the page is less likely to rank for both.
HOW COPYWRITING WORKS?
  • 1)One of the ways is attracting the search engine robots through highly qualitative copywriting
  • 2)They have much better network and resources for accomplishment of tasks relating to search engine optimization and web promotion
  • 3)With their experience and professional approach they can perform the task in a time bound and cost effective manner both of which are very important for best results at the end of it.
  • 4)Its the words that make the sale
    • Good copywriting commands attention. It grabs your prospects by their eyeballs swiftly and mercilessly… and surrounds your business with targeted red-hot leads who are eager to devour virtually everything you’ve got to offer.
    • Good copywriting engages your audience. It tells your story with passion, captivates the reader and establishes trust and authority that turns casual visitors into raving fans and loyal advocates.
    • Good copywriting connects on a deep emotional level. It pulls at the prospects heartstrings, touches directly onto their deepest dreams and desires. And ties those desires to your products to spark excitement and create a burning urge to buy, buy, and buy!
    • Good copywriting bypasses the rational brain. By using time-tested and cutting-edge sales psychology techniques, copywriting interrupts their thought patterns, dissolves buyers resistance and subtly but effectively persuades your prospects to take action.
  • 5)Good copywriting is more than just words
    • But good copywriting is more than just words. A lot more actually. A well-crafted message needs to be carefully planned.
    • Every word, sentence and paragraph in your copy must exist for a reason. Every headline, arrow and photo must get you closer to the goal.
    • Crafting riveting sales copy that makes the sale, requires a specific process.
  • 6)The science of persuasive writing
    • We have the ability to express a message clearly and persuasively
    • Our accuracy and attention to detail
    • We have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

HOW KEYWORD GENERATOR WORKS?
  • 1)SEO Keyword Research Tool:
    • Use the SEO Keyword Tool to generate a list of relevant keyword suggestions and synonyms related to your topic / keyword. Submit a single keyword and extract the “Primary keyword suggestions” and “Secondary keyword suggestions”. The generated keyword list is based on popular search terms people use when searching for topics related to your keyword.
  • 2)SEO Keyword suggestion Tool output:
    • a)Primary keyword suggestions – The keyword / keyword combinations directly related to your keyword.
    • b)Secondary keyword suggestions – The sub suggestions related to the Primary keyword list.
    • c)Keyword synonyms – Synonyms related to the entered keyword.
    • d)Character count – The keyword character count (including white spaces).
    • e)Google keyword search trends
    • f)United states – English Multi country / language support
      • a.
      • b.United Kingdom -English
      • c.Ireland – English
      • d.Italy – Italien
      • e.Netherlands – Dutch
      • f.Germany – German
      • g.France – French
      • h.Canada – English
      • i.Spain – Spanish
      • j.Australia – English
      • k.Denmark – Danish
      • l.China – Chines
      • m.Thailand – Thais
      • n.India – English

Before writing a page or a blog article it can be very useful to do some keyword research to determine your keyword themes. The generated keyword suggestions can help you write more relevant content, better HTML titles and provide you with valuable long-tail keyword combinations.

HOW MOBILITY CODE IMPLEMENTATION WORKS?
  • 1)A simple solution to turn your website into a mobile site is to recreate a version optimized for mobile devices. This approach ensures that all of your content and site features will load correctly on mobile devices while offering the exact user experience consumers get from your traditional website
  • 2)Rather than creating two separate websites (a traditional site and a mobile site), you could create a single site that will render correctly on both computers and mobile devices.
  • 3)Depending on the reasons why consumers want to access your website from their mobile devices, you might want to create a task-oriented mobile app rather than a separate mobile website.
  • 4)A hybrid mobile solution includes both a mobile website component as well as a mobile app component.
  • 5)A company that chooses a hybrid solution wants consumers to be able to quickly and easily perform very specific tasks using a mobile app, but anything outside of those specific tasks requires that consumers visit the company’s mobile website.
HOW SITEMAP WORKS?
  • 1)Google supports the use of a sitemap.
  • 2)The Sitemaps protocol allows a web-master to inform search engines about URLs on a website that are available for crawling
  • 3)A Sitemap is an XML file that lists the URLs for a sit
  • 4)It allows web-masters to include additional information about each URL: when it was last updated, how often it changes, and how important it is in relation to other URLs in the site as this allows search engines to crawl the site more intelligently.
  • 5)Sitemaps are a URL inclusion protocol and complement robots.txt, a URL exclusion protocol
  • 6)Google spiders your website more frequently if your website is current, often has new information, new pages and new incoming links
  • 7)Google uses the data in your Sitemap to learn about your site's structure, which will allow them to improve our crawler schedule and do a better job crawling your site in the future
  • 8) In most cases, webmasters will benefit from Sitemap submission, and in no case will you be penalized for it
  • 9)It is a way of listing all the pages in your website, so that Google knows about it especially for those pages of your site that spider may not find
  • 10)The crawl process begins with a list of web addresses from past crawls and sitemaps provided by website owners.
HOW ROBOT.TXT WORKS?
  • 1)With the robots.txt file, site owners can choose not to be crawled by Googlebot, or they can provide more specific instructions about how to process pages on their sites.
  • 2)The robots.txt file is a simple text file placed on your web server which tells webcrawlers like Googlebot if they should access a file or not.
  • 3)Improper usage of the robots.txt file can hurt your ranking
    • The robots.txt file controls how search engine spiders see and interact with your webpages
    • This file is mentioned in several of the Google guidelines
    • This file, and the bots they interact with, are fundamental parts of how search engines work Priorities for your website
  • 4)There are three important things that any webmaster should do when it comes to the robots.txt file.
    • Determine if you have a robots.txt file
    • If you have one, make sure it is not harming your ranking or blocking content you don't want blocked
    • Determine if you need a robots.txt file
    • Determining if you have a robots.txt
  • 5)Determine if your robots.txt is blocking important files
    • You can use the Google guidelines tool, which will warn you if you are blocking certain page resources that Google needs to understand your pages.
    • If you have access and permission you can use the Google search console to test your robots.txt file.
  • 6)To fully understand if your robots.txt file is not blocking anything you do not want it to block, you will need to understand what it is saying.
    • Do you need a robots.txt file?
    • You may not even need to have a robots.txt file on your site. In fact it is often the case you do not need one.
  • 7)Reasons you may want to have a robots.txt file:
    • You have content you want blocked from search engines
    • You are using paid links or advertisements that need special instructions for robots
    • You want to fine tune access to your site from reputable robots
    • You are developing a site that is live, but you do not want search engines to index it yet
    • They help you follow some Google guidelines in some certain situations
    • You need some or all of the above, but do not have full access to your webserver and how it is configured
    • Each of the above situations can be controlled by other methods, however the robots.txt file is a good central place to take care of them and most webmasters have the ability and access required to create and use a robots.txt file.
    • It is simple and error free and you do not have any files you want or need to be blocked from search engines
    • You do not find yourself in any of the situations listed in the above reasons to have a robots.txt file
  • 8)When you do not have a robots.txt file
    • The search engine robots like Googlebot will have full access to your site. This is a normal and simple method that is very common. It is okay to not have a robots.txt file especially if you only have static kind of website.
HOW META TAGS WORKS?
  • 1)Google provides a lot of help in their online Web-master Tools program
    • "Diagnostics" and look for the item Duplicate Meta description.
    • The content analyzer will let you know how to prevent duplicate content.
    • Also the length of the Meta description tag will be analyzed.
    • Looking at the missing title-tags, duplicate titles
    • Basically you want all the numbers down to zero. This means Google found no errors.
  • 2)You can find a lot of information about Google and how to use Meta tags online. But there is also a lot of incorrect information out there or tips that will make your site drop from the search engines.
    • We have collected the most important facts on how to change your website using the Google web- master tips.
    • Search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and AltaVista show Meta tags in their search results.
    • You will have a direct influence on your presentation. And by doing so you are able to manipulate the Click-behavior of your soon to be customer
    • We are adding the Meta tags in all of your web-pages, so not only in the first index page
    • Adding keywords and phrases that are relevant and correspond to the text on that specific page.
    • It might be a lot of work to add specific Meta tags to each page but you will notice in time that it works!
    • The title is the first impression people get of your website. It has to persuade them to click on your link and not the link of your competitor
    • It's very important that you use the keywords you want your site to be found under, in your Meta description tag
    • The more frequently a search engine spider finds a certain word on your website and in your Meta tags, it values that word as important.
    • Your site will be positioned higher in the search index.
    • Giving each page of your website a relevant title, relevant description and relevant keywords that correspond with the text on your website.
    • A visitor will find the exact information within your website, on the correct page
    • A well-formed description tag will be shown directly by e.g. Yahoo, Bing and Google. That's why the description tag is also named the Google Meta description or snippet.
    • How long it will take for Google to add the information in the meta-tags is difficult to say
  • 3)The Description Meta Tag
    • “Description” helps with site rankings. “Description” tells the search engine what your page or site is about
    • When Google’s algorithm decides a description is badly written or inaccurate, it will replace that description with its own version of what is on the page.
    • Wouldn’t you prefer to describe your site to potential customers or visitors using your own words rather than leaving it in Google’s artificial hands?
    • “Description” helps with click through rates to your site
    • A well-written description not only tells users what is on your page, but also entices them to visit your site.
    • A description is what shows up in the search engine results. It is like good window dressing. Sites with poor descriptions will get less click through and the search engines will demote your site in favor of other sites.
HOW WEB ANALYTICS WORKS?
  • 1)Google Analytics JavaScript Code
    • When a visitor arrives at a page with tracking code, the code is executed by his browser. It collects information about the visitor's browser and computer settings, like screen resolution, operating system, etc. The script's visibility is pretty limited. It can typically only see what it's told.
    • The script then sets a few cookies containing some basic visit information. These cookies determine whether it is a new or returning visitor, among other things
  • 2)Google Analytics Data Collection Service
    • Next, all of this information must be sent to the Google Analytics servers so it can be processed. The GA tracking code sends the information by requesting a very small file, named __utm.gif.
    • It appends all the cookie data and information it just collected to the query string for __utm.gif.
    • This way, Google's servers have a record of when a file was requested and all of the visitor information about that page view.
    • Many organizations store a copy of every tracking request sent to the data collection service - this is accomplished with the setLocalRemoteServerMode (); function in ga.js.
    • Once you have a local copy of Google Analytics tracking requests, you can process them with Angelfish Software and turn them into interactive reports.
  • 3)Processing Visit Information
    • In the last step, Google Analytics processes all of the __utm.gif requests, applies filters and config settings, and makes the data available to your account.
    • Visit data is typically processed every few hours, although this frequency has been increasing over time.
    • Google rolled out a set of Real Time data reports in 2011 although the data available in these reports is not comprehensive.

HOW WEBSITE INDEXING WORKS?
  • 1)You will find websites that Google will only spider every three months but there are fix.
  • 2)New websites that are added to the index within a few minutes after being submitted
  • 3)It is still difficult to know when the Google spider will visit your website. But normally, after you have submitted your website, it will take about 4 to 6 weeks for a regular website.
  • 4)Googlebot gives the indexer the full text of the pages it finds. These pages are stored in Google’s index database
  • 5)Indexing the full text of the web allows Google to go beyond simply matching single search terms
  • 6)Google gives more priority to pages that have search terms near each other and in the same order as the query
  • 7)The Googlebot is simply the search bot software that Google sends out to collect information about documents on the web to add to Google’s searchable index
  • 8) Crawling is the process where the Googlebot goes around from website to website, finding new and updated information to report back to Google. The Googlebot finds what to crawl using links
  • 9)Indexing is the processing of the information gathered by the Googlebot from its crawling activities. Once documents are processed, they are added to Google’s searchable index if they are determined to be quality content. During indexing, the Googlebot processes the words on a page and where those words are located. Information such as title tags and ALT attributes are also analyzed during indexing.
  • 10)The Google index includes information about words and their locations. When you search, at the most basic level, our algorithms look up your search terms in the index to find the appropriate pages.
  • 11)An alternate name for the process in the context of search engines designed to find web pages on the Internet is web indexing.
HOW DIRECTORY SUBMISSION WORKS?
  • 1)A web directory is a directory on the World Wide Web that specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links
  • 2)To obtain a high ranking on search engines, it is mandatory to build links to gain more traffic
  • 3)Web directories often allow site owners to submit their site for inclusion
  • 4)Human editors review submissions for fitness
  • 5)Backlinks are a vital part of creating traffic to your site. Creating backlinks is time consuming and at times frustrating. However, the more quality backlinks your site has accumulated the more visible your site is

HOW LINK BUILDING WORKS?
  • 1)Links from stronger (in terms of authority), more contextually relevant, and more trusted sites are going to make a bigger impact on moving your rankings – as well as new links from new domains.
  • 2)Building links is hard, especially if you’re going about it in the most sustainable way possible; by building things worth linking to.
  • 3)Looking at Links in the Wild
    • There are lots of legitimate, white-hat ways to continue to build links – andwe have the most comprehensive list of these.
    • As for the less savory methods of engineering links, there’s more or less 2 methods for manufacturing:
    • a)aBuilding or buying links on private blog networks (PBN’s), or
    • b)Going completely black-hat and injecting links into sites.
    • c)The issue with both of these, beyond them being strictly against Google’s guidelines, is that they both still work in many capacities – which I’m going to show you.
  • 4)Why Links Are Important
    • Having established links are like votes, it's not too hard to understand why links are important.
    • Just like a politician wins an election by securing more votes than other candidates, web pages secure the first position in a search result by securing more votes than other pages. However, unlike a political election where all votes are equal, where search engines, the concerned on this isn't the case, and this is where most of the confusion arises.
  • 5)Why Links Are Not All Equal
    • In order to explain this further I'm going to stick with the voting analogy and expand on it. When thinking about links as votes it's useful to consider the term block vote or block voting. Most commonly associated with unions a block vote infers upon one person the voting rights of all members of an organization. Let's say there are 4 people in a room each representing one group of people which means in the search engine result all links that appears in one page shows your website or blog or write ups or social media postings.
